Work on the Shahdara Flyover has commenced, and a Traffic Plan has been put in place.

Lahore: Construction on the long-awaited Shahdara flyover in Punjab has finally begun and the Lahore City Traffic Police have provided an action plan for the general public. This flyover is intended to alleviate traffic congestion at the Shahdara Chowk intersection, which has been a major issue for commuters in the area.

The police have announced that access to the intersection will be restricted starting on February 18th, 2023, as the flyover is being built. All citizens using this route are asked to abide by the plan provided in order to prevent further traffic problems and delays. This project should be of great benefit to the residents of Shahdara who must cross the chowk regularly, as well as reduce noise and air pollution caused by traffic jams.
