RDA Has Instructed Frontier Works Organization to Expedite the Building of The Tourism Highway Project

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority held a meeting on Thursday to go over the Tourism Highway Project’s construction.

The project’s construction was evaluated during the conference, and NESPAK was given instructions to intensify efforts for prompt completion. The necessary authorities were instructed to fill in the gaps on the tourist highway.

After the project is finished, Tariq Mehmood Murtaza claims that tourists would have access to travel facilities and that residents will also benefit from it.

The official foundation stone for the 123-kilometer tourism roadway was laid in April of last year. The route ascends to Lower Topa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir before passing through the three hilly tehsils of Rawalpindi Kahuta, Kotli Sattian, and Murree. The project would be completed for a cost of Rs. 4.75 billion.

On either side of the street, 200,000 more trees would be planted. Services would be provided in addition to green spaces to boost tourism.
