Affordable Housing for National Highway Employees Has Been Approved.

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Communications Asad Mahmood has granted his approval to the construction of apartments for National Highway Authority employees (NHA).

The project will be close to the M-1 and M-2 motorways and offer affordable options for basic instalment housing for NHA employees.

The specs state that the project’s foundation will be set this month. The units will be built on 121 Kanals of NHA property and come with a range of facilities.

Along with the residential development, the minister also ordered the construction of two additional loops at the M-1 and M-2 interchanges to improve access to the airports in Lahore, Peshawar, and Islamabad.

Pakistan’s federal government started a housing plan in 2019 with the goal of building five million homes nationwide over the course of five years to ease the country’s housing need.
